Business Resumes In Most Part of The Country After Repeat Election Took Place

Businesses have suffered across the country owing to election standoff that has been experienced since the nullification of election by Supreme court on September 1st.

All cities, Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kisumu are hardly hit after tasting the blunt of NASA demonstrations that forced businesses to remain closed making customers to shy away for fear of getting caught up in the demos and affecting their businesses.

Other major towns have not been left either, as many claims to have run short of supply and everyone is crying to have their lives resume back to normalcy.

In Nyanza, where demos resisting IEBC from handling election in the region, forced business to remain closed for the last two days for fear of rooting, theft, and property destruction as it has been witnessed in the past.

Homabay, Kisumu, Migori, Busia, and the nearby towns are counting losses and hoping the situation stabilized completely to allow them to get back to work without disturbances from police and the youth battles.

Many shop owners embraced IEBC move to cancel the election planned to be held today to another unspecified date. The move has allowed them to market their produce which slowly has seen the towns bounce back to normal flow.

The country is breathing a sigh of relief as IEBC continues with presidential tallying at the Bomas of Kenya. There was an outcry today from Nairobi business community asking for the process to be speeded up to allow business resume to a peaceful environment accommodating to customers and investors as well.
